Hugger Art Gallery

I am writing to tell you about the newly opened Hugger Gallery. I am hoping to attract visitors and artists from all over Sheffield and the surrounding areas to the gallery. If you are interested in exhibiting at the gallery, running a special event or workshop, using a studio space, or would simply like to pop in for a chat to find out more about the gallery, and its unique aims, please don't hesitate to get in touch. The gallery targets those who are retired, and who would enjoy making art in a calming, creative environment. We have several small private studios on the first floor of the premises. These are very enjoyable spaces; heated, with a comfortable chair and easel. We charge only £10 for the use of a studio for 2 hours, including the provision of a canvas, paints and brushes. The gallery is committed to raising awareness about deforestation all over the globe, and advocates afforestation (the conservation and cultivation of forests) to halt the destruction of the world's green spaces. We donate all profits from gift shop sales to the B a Treehugger charity, as well as 5% from every sale of a work of art. To find out more please visit: www.batreehugger.co.uk We hope that customers will value the opportunity to contribute to conservation of the natural world when making a purchase, and that our donation policy will encourage people to visit the website, and think about how they can support afforestation in their local environment. I hope this covers everything you would like to know. Please don't hesitate to e-mail or give me a call if there is anything else you would like to know. I look forward to hearing from you! With Kind Regards Karl Chambers 01142 750005 07853 818264

Sheffield Cathedral Community Resources Centre

As I am sure you are aware, the new Community Resources Centre at Sheffield Cathedral has been up and running for twelve weeks, providing daily support to the homeless and vulnerable of the city and sub-region. We also have eight rooms available for hire to the businesses and other groups, with the income going to support the Cathedral work with people who are in need of our support.

We would be delighted if you would consider using the Cathedral to support any future events. Please contact me to discuss rates and availability.
