Thank You

Open up Sheffield would like to thank all our supporters and partners in the development of this region-wide cultural event, especially the Arts Council England - Yorkshire for their continued belief and funding, Sheffield City Council for recognising the importance of supporting their cultural heritage, and Freeman College for sponsoring us for a second year.

As a voluntary, artist-run organisation, the event would not be possible without the enthusiasm and dedication of the directors and steering group: Gaynor Lewis (secretary), Jo Maltby (treasurer), Karin Hessenberg, Simon Clements, Jeff Perks, Tim Rose, Sarah Villeneau, Rosalie Wyatt, Caroline Norman, Sue Lancaster, Mark H. Wilson, Philippa French, Hilary Pye and Brian Holland.

A special thank you goes to Dr. Roland Miller who has supported Open Up Sheffield since the early days, making sure we make every effort to include Live Art and other non-product based practices in the event, and who resigns as a Director this year.

In honour of Roland's contribution, this year we are highlighting performance and installation based artists, Dr. Roland Miller, Shirley Cameron, Sharon Gill, Mark Morris and Jamie Bell, Jane Dawson and Gemma Thornton and Anne-Marie Culhane, so look out for these in the guide.
