My work celebrates the unique relationship between human and animal. I specialise in equestrian art and work in a variety of mediums in both traditional and modern styles. Demonstrations at 1.30pm each day.
Established in 1992, I specialise in equestrian scenes and realistic portraits of horses and dogs, a large proportion of my work being on a commission basis. I am an Associate of the Society Of Equestrian Artists. My recent work shows my enjoyment of working contra-jour (against the light) and experimenting with dramatic light effects.
I also teach extensively and cover a wide variety of styles and mediums.
In 2011 I completed a personal challenge of 100 paintings in 100 days to creatively develop further my style and subject matter.
My favourite medium is acrylics, but I also produce watercolours, pastels, pencil and charcoal studies. There will be a wide variety of quality greeting cards available showing my work and a small selection of limited edition prints. In March, 2010, my portrait of the great racehorse, Nashwan, was presented in Dubai to HRH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. I returned to exhibit in Dubai in March 2011 and now have work in private collections in America, Austria, New Zealand, Germany, The United Arab Emirates and Australia.
