I work in mixed media and enjoy investigating and using natural and recycled materials. My inspiration for work and colour palette often comes from nature.
Colour and texture are very important to me. My gran has been a big influence on my work passing on her excellent homemaking/craft skills such as knitting and sewing. I work a lot with wool, found objects from nature and recycled materials. Current inspiration for projects include Lichen, weathered wood on ancient barn doors, autumn leaves and my creative and emotional journey as an artist since moving into my first studio. I run regular creative card making workshops.
I am a founder member of an artist co-operative, Farrago that is currently working on projects exploring rituals that celebrate the changing seasons.
