Landscape paintings of moorlands, sea coasts, etc., using acrylics or gouache, often in combination with soft pastel or pencil.

I paint English landscapes – mainly of moorlands, sea coasts and other semi-wild places. Most of my paintings are of scenes in the Peak District or the North Yorkshire coast. My aim is to catch the changing light and colours of seasons and times of day, and to evoke or suggest the mood or feeling tone of the landscape. I use acrylics and/or gouache, often in combination with soft pastel or pencil.

STUDIO: Third floor studio with finished paintings and work in progress. Finished paintings on display on ground floor.
