Fine art landscape paintings in pastel of the Derbyshire Peak District. Capturing the spirit and atmosphere of the Peak Park in an individual style.

I am a Sheffield based fine artist, living and working on the edge of the Peak District. I walk the hills, observing and recording the light, colours and features of the local landscape. By exploring a variety of styles and techniques, I seek to express the character and atmosphere of the Peak National Park as I see it. I enjoy finding new ways of creating the visual qualities I want in my work, and continuously experiment with media and visual language. The majority of my work is in pastel which is superbly adapted to the expression of light, colour and atmosphere.

I work from my studio at home and visitors are welcome to drop in and look around with no pressure to buy. My work has been awarded a number of prizes and is regularly exhibited in art fairs and exhibitions both locally and across the UK.

STUDIO: Lots of original paintings on show; methods and materials clearly set out and explained; paintings, prints and cards for purchase.

DIRECTIONS: From town centre take no.97 Bus to Totley. Alight at Main Avenue on Baslow Road. Look for Liberty Farm Food Shop on corner of Main Avenue. Walk down Main Avenue, first right onto Sunnyvale Avenue, first left into Meadow Grove. Look for Open Up signs at street corners and on gatepost.
