I knit clothing and other items to my own designs, using beads and wire as well as conventional yarns. I can also accept commissions and provide patterns for other knitters.

I have been knitting for a long time but have recently started experimenting with my own designs. Knitting is a great medium for producing any kind of shape and I am not limited to sweaters and socks, but also knit jewellery and ornamental items. My first attempts were influenced by Kaffe Fassett and his wonderful multi-coloured knits, but more recently I have been looking at the work of experimental knitters such as Debbie New. Knitting lends itself to three-dimensional forms and fluid shapes.

I am also influenced and inspired by the wonderful wools available in Yorkshire.
