Hello. I create artwork prints using linocuts and copper-plate etchings. I am drawn towards simple graphic images, and occasionally the ordinarily absurd. I’m inspired primarily by the printing medium, and the surprises it gives you. As much as you think you know what you’ll end up with, it’ll always be slightly different. Artists whose work I admire include Egon Schiele, Francisco Goya, Stanley Spencer and Max Beckmann.
I studied Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam 1992-95 and I have been creating printed artwork for probably the last 8 years. Aside from my own personal artwork I’ve also been commissioned to produced print work for Domino Records, Tramlines Festival and Paul Smith Menswear.
I am also a musician and have a band called 'The Big Eyes Family Players'.
